ANZ Flying Start Business Plan Competition 2014

Win a prize package worth $45,000 to help grow your business!

Stage One of the ANZ Flying Start Business Plan Competition has now closed for 2014.

The Stage 2 shortlists has been announced.

The shortlist is made up of the top three entrants from each of the 13 regions. They have been invited to submit a more comprehensive business plan and cash flow forecast for the second round of judging. In this round 13 regional winners will be chosen and from these, the top five will be invited to Wellington to pitch their business to our panel of experts. From these we will select the Supreme Winner and two runners up. 

The supreme prize package worth $45,000 includes:

  • $30,000 cash provided by ANZ for approved business growth opportunities (subject to conditions)
  • $5,000 of marketing consultation, training or development, provided by The Marketing Bureau
  • $5,000 of advertising or editorial in NZBusiness Magazine
  • $5,000 of legal advice, provided by Lane Neave Lawyers


There are also prizes of $5,000 cash for second and third place and 10 regional prize winners will each receive $1,000 cash.
