Testing your system

The Ministry of Economic Development (MED) maintains a separate test environment that is accessible by external users. In this environment you can undertake testing of your web services products before you connect to our production (live) databases.

If you are developing your own web services to interact with our registers, we expect you to test your application in this environment before you connect to our production databases. This is an important step, as the testing ensures that your application works as you intend it to work. It will also demonstrate to MED that your application will not compromise our production databases if your testing has been successful.

You can use this environment to send any test data you wish to ensure your application meets your requirements.

In order to gain access to our test environment you can apply for a test account.    

What happens next?

When we receive your application we will create a test account.  We will then contact you and provide all the necessary details and access permissions required for you to make a successful connection to our test environment.
