The PPSR does not currently offer a BusinessData service, however development of this service will be underway in the near future.

The PPSR does have an existing Government to Business (G2B) service available to clients which allows clients to register and search directly without the need to utilise the PPSR website. Learn more...

Clients that are utilising our existing G2B PPSR service will be notified when our new BusinessData service will become available for testing.

What is the PPSR?

The Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR) is the register where security interests over personal property may be registered and can be searched.

The PPSR was created as a result of the Personal Property Securities Act 1999 coming into force on 1 May 2002 and it replaced a number of existing registers including the Chattels Register, Motor Vehicle Securities Register, and the Register of Company Charges.

The PPSR is administered by the Companies Office.
