Neville Harris, Registrar of Companies, Deputy Secretary, Business Service Branch
Neville Harris has been the Registrar of Companies since March 1989 when he was appointed Assistant Secretary for Justice, responsible for the Commercial Affairs Division. The Companies Office and Insolvency and Trustee Service were the principal business units in the Division.
The Commercial Affairs Division transferred to the then Ministry of Commerce in 1995 and in 2001 the Companies Office was included in the Business Services Branch along with the
- Insolvency and Trustee Service,
- Intellectual Property Office,
- Crown Minerals Group,
- Radio Spectrum Management Group,
- Energy Safety Service, and
- the Government Actuary Office.
Neville is now the Deputy Secretary responsible for the Business Services Branch.
