Welcome to the new Companies Office site

Updating a company on our new website for the first time? There are 5 main steps to follow.

  1. Register with igovt The Companies Office is using igovt, the one logon for government services.
  2. Create a Companies Office user account Create a user account with the Companies Office.
  3. Select the company Search for and select the company you want to update.
  4. Request authority You will need to have Company Authority. Authority can be granted via the Company Key.
  5. Update your company
Two important changes you need to be aware of are:
  • The Companies Office is using igovt, the one logon for government service. Note: you will only have to do step 1 and 2 the first time you register. From then on you can log on using you user name and password so keep them in a safe place.
  • A new authority management system called 'Company Authority' replaces the current company key system. Note: you will only have to do this once for a company.
