First time using this website?

Welcome to the Companies Office website.  We made significant changes to our website at the end of June 2010.

Here is a summary of main things you need to know about using this website to make changes to the Companies Register:

1. Register as a user

The first change you need to be aware of is that you are now required to be a Registered User to make any changes to the Companies Register.  A Registered User requires an igovt logon, so even if you previously had a Companies Office User ID and Password you need to now set up an igovt account.

2. Personalised dashboard

Once you have your igovt Username and Password and have either set up a new Companies Office account or linked to you old Companies Office account you will be taken to your new Personalised Dashboard workspace.

Your dashboard is the customisable workspace that allows you to keep track of any unfinished business and watch companies you have an interest in.

When you logon to the Companies Office website you are automatically taken to your dashboard.  The dashboard will work as a central place for all your business.

3. Get Company Authority

To maintain the details of your company or companies that you act for in a professional capacity you are required to hold Company Authority for each company.  There are a number of ways to obtain Company Authority including entering the old Company Key.
