Using the search the register option you can find details of entities (New Zealand companies or overseas companies registered in New Zealand), directors (including disqualified directors), and shareholders.
Note | To search for other entities (such as Industrial and Provident Societies, Limited Partnerships, Friendly Societies, Credit Unions, etc) please use the Search Other Registers option.

Most searches are FREE and you don't need to log on (or even be a registered user) to search the register.
How do you get a certificate of incorporation?

How do you get a certificate of good standing?
Where a company meets the criteria listed here, the Registrar of Companies will issue a certificate of good standing on request.
How do you validate a document?
Our document validation service is a way of authenticating a document issued by the Registrar. Validation codes are issued with company extracts and certificates of incorporation requested as part of a company search. They are also included on certificates of good standing.
