Processing your consents
We process consent forms during normal business hours by checking that:
- the document image is readable and of good quality;
- the consent has been given on the correct form, is completed and signed; and
- the director and shareholder details match those supplied in your application for incorporation.
When we accept your consent forms
When we have accepted the last consent form we will send you the Certificate of Incorporation via email. We aim to process your consent forms promptly - processing will usually be completed within two hours (during business hours). If you have not received the certificate of incorporation within this timeframe please contact us.
If we reject a consent form
If we reject a consent form for any reason we will email you to advise why the consent was rejected and may ask for it to be resent. One of the most common reasons for rejecting consent forms is due to poor quality. Another common problem is where the details on the consent form do not match those given in the application for incorporation.
If the details on the consent are incorrect; the application for incorporation should be amended. When the details on the application for incorporation are correct; the consent form will need to be reprinted.
How do you amend your consent forms?
If the details on any of your consent forms are incorrect you will need to amend the information online and reprint the consent forms.
Step 1 – Select the incorporation you wish to amend from My Unfinished Business on your Dashboard.
Step 2 – Select the Director tab and make any amendments required. Select Remove the director to delete the director and enter new details.
Notes
If you remove the director and this person is also a shareholder you will be asked to confirm if you also wish to remove them as a shareholder.
If you made a change to a director who is also a shareholder the system should update the shareholder details automatically.
Step 3 – Select the Shareholder tab and check the details are correct. Add or amend shareholder details if required.
Step 5 – Select Save & exit in the bottom left corner to save your changes.
New consent forms that incorporate the changes you have made will be emailed to you.
