Can you change details you have already submitted?

You can amend details supplied as part of your application to incorporate, but only up until the point when the final consent form is accepted for registration.

Director or shareholder changes

If you decide that you need to make amendments to the director or shareholder details, simply go back online to the company incorporation details, access the director or shareholder screens and update the details.  New consent forms with the changes will then be emailed to you.

Note | You can't use this update process to correct details of any directors or shareholders who have already returned their signed consents.  To make any changes to these directors or shareholders, you will need to delete the director and/or shareholder and enter their details again to generate a new consent form.

Company addresses or tax details

At any point up until the final consent form is accepted you are able to access the company incorporation details and amend:

• the company address or
• any tax/GST details.
  Note | If you decide to apply for tax, you will need to enter IRD numbers for any New Zealand resident directors and shareholders (if this is the only information updated, this change would not require new director or shareholder consent forms).
   

Company name

You can't amend the company name.
