What should you do if your new company is not trading?

Regardless of whether your company is trading, a company must file an annual return with the Companies Office each calendar year after its incorporation.

An annual return is not a tax return nor does it contain any financial details or information on trading activities - it is simply an annual requirement for a company to confirm details with the Companies Office.

If an annual return is not filed by the due date, the company risks being removed from the Register.
