Additional company information

Companies have the option of providing extra information about their company on the Companies Office website.  Companies can provide their:

• Company logo ¹
• Trading name
• Website address
• Email address
• Business Classification
• Premise address ²
• Phone number
• NZSX Code

You can provide all or just some of the above listed information about your company.  This information is not mandatory and it is the responsibility of the company to keep this information up to date.  Any details you provide will be publicly available to anyone searching the register.

Notes

¹ Ideally the logo you upload should be 300 pixels wide (72dpi resolution).  Please note that if your image is wider than this it will be resized to 300 pixels wide so this may distort your logo.

² The site will use the Premise address you supply to generate a Google map pinpointing the location of the company.
 

How to add or update additional company information

To update or maintain any company details with the Companies Office:

Step one | Locate the company to update

From the Online Services - Do It Now menu choose Search for a company. 

Find the company by entering some search criteria (for example, either the company name or the company number).

From the Search Results select the company to update.

Step two | Update details

From the 'Company Summary' screen select Update Details in the Additional company information box on the right hand side.

Read the 'Terms & Conditions' for the information you are about to provide then tick the box at the top of the screen to confirm you have read and understood them.

Note | If you choose to add additional company information, you must provide a premise address for your company as a minimum (this is a mandatory field).  Add or update any other details you wish to provide to the public.

Select the Submit button to save and display the changes you have made.
