Privacy training for businesses

The Office of the  Privacy Commissioner offers several types of training programmes and workshops, to help agencies to comply with the Privacy Act or codes, and to inform people about privacy. They are held in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

If you want the Office to deliver in-house training for you, they charge on a cost-recovery basis. Discounts may be available on request. You may want to join with other local organisations or businesses so that the cost is shared.

Speakers for seminars or conferences

In addition to the Office's regular training workshops, they can provide speakers for meetings or conferences.

For general enquiries about training programmes or conference speakers, phone 0800 803 909 or email enquiries@privacy.org.nz
