External Recruitment Services

As part of the New Zealand Government Procurement Reform Programme a Recruitment Centre of Expertise (CoE) has been established at the Ministry of Economic Development to implement All-of-Government contract for External Recruitment Services.

By harnessing the collective buying power of over 200 State Sector agencies, Local Authorities and over 2,400 schools, the NZ government has positioned itself as a ‘customer of choice’ and is looking to achieve substantial cost savings in this area.

An All-of-Government Request for Proposal (RFP) for External Recruitment Services has been released on GETS (16 April 2012).
The objective of the RFP is appoint a panel of AoG providers to supply ‘primary’ recruitment services for roles within in three job families (i.e. Common Admin, Common Corporate and Common IT) on a permanent (or fixed term), temporary or contractor basis.

The Centre of Expertise invites proposals from suppliers with a physical presence in any of the three key regions being Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch.

 

Timeframes (last updated 17 April 2012)

RFP released on GETS www.gets.govt.nz 16 April.

Last day for Notification of Intention to Respond and Registration of Referees is Monday 30 April.

Proposals must be submitted (vie e-tender tool) by 5pm on Monday 14 May.
