As part of the Government Procurement Reform Programme we have reviewed and refreshed the principles of government procurement.

As part of the Government Procurement Reform Programme we have reviewed and now want to refresh the principles of government procurement.
The principles of government procurement lie at the core of how government goes about sourcing the products and services it needs – they also guide government in how it engages with business.
Our objective with this refresh is to produce a set of principles that will influence government procurement practice, make it easy and worthwhile to work with government and motivate competitive suppliers to deliver great results.
The consultation period has now closed - thank you to everyone who provided feedback. We are currently analysing the results of our survey and incorporating feedback in the final version of the principles.
