COVID-19 Protection Framework guidance for services that require 15 minutes or more of physical contact or close proximity of less than 1 metre between people.
These are services that can’t be undertaken without physical contact, or close proximity, between people (defined as less than 1 metre between customer and worker, where services generally last 15 minutes or more).
However, this guidance does not apply to close-proximity health services, professional sports, and semi-professional sports. For guidance on health-services, please see the Ministry of Health webpage. For guidance on sports, please see the Sport NZ webpage.
