What this funding is for
The Wood Processing Growth Fund supports projects that grow New Zealand's wood processing sector.
Funding can be used to:
- increase wood processing capacity
- improve productivity and competitiveness
- expand or upgrade processing facilities
- develop investment-ready projects
Support is available for pre-investment activities, such as feasibility studies, business cases and technical development, as well as larger capital projects.
The fund aims to increase productivity, support regional jobs and encourage the production of higher-value wood products.
