What this funding is for
The Low Emissions Heavy Vehicles Fund helps reduce the upfront cost of switching to low and zero-emissions heavy vehicles.
You can use the funding to:
- buy a new zero-emissions heavy vehicle
- buy a new low-emissions heavy vehicle
- convert an existing heavy vehicle to a zero-emissions vehicle
- convert an existing heavy vehicle to use low-emissions technology
Funding is available for eligible vehicles and approved conversions.

What to know before you apply
- Funding is only available for vehicles, suppliers, and conversion providers approved by EECA.
- Public service departments, non-public service departments, and statutory Crown entities cannot apply.
