What this funding is for
The Māori Agribusiness Funds include five programmes that help Māori agribusinesses and whenua Māori organisations grow and develop.
Funding and support can help you:
- get more value from your land and assets
- build the skills and knowledge to grow your business
- work with other landowners and food and fibre businesses
- improve environmental performance and reduce emissions
- explore new products, services, and business opportunities.
Support is available through the following programmes:
- Māori Agribusiness Pathway to Increased Productivity (MAPIP) - helping you get more value from Māori whenua and food and fibre assets.
- Māori Agribusiness Extension (MABx) - helping groups of Māori landowners and food and fibre producers work together and build skills.
- Māori Agribusiness Climate - helping you improve environmental performance and reduce agricultural greenhouse gas emissions.
- Māori Agribusiness Innovation - supporting the development of new products, services, and ways of working.
- He Ara Mahi Hou - supporting workforce and governance development for Māori agribusinesses.
MPI can help you identify the programme that best fits your needs and goals.
