We get little bits of gold every time we speak to them.

The amount of support and network you get from it is absolutely amazing.

I basically didn't have any decent hearing protection at work. It was uncomfortable. The sound quality was terrible.
[Visual: Cut to a man with short hair, wearing a black t-shirt with the letters ‘FE’ on the left chest. He sits at a table in a restaurant, then in a casual interview setup. His name Taz Mcauley appears along the bottom of the screen with the brand Food Envy.]
I love hospitality and I want to be able to do the best that we can.

I was property manager at the time. Um, Aaron, my co-founder being the tech wizard, he is, he said, you know, you can automate a lot of what you are doing.
[Visual: Cut to Simon’s kitchen with a woman with long blonde hair, wearing a light-coloured top. She sits at a kitchen table, interacting with Simon.]
I originally heard about the partner network through a good friend of mine. They said, you need to reach out to them. So I went in a bit cautious, thinking, what am I gonna get out of this?
[Visual: Cut back to Simon alone in his kitchen being interviewed.]
[Visual: Cut to Taz sitting at a restaurant booth. He had a note pad in front of him and someone off screen is on a laptop facing and interacting with him. It zooms out to show the same woman who had been with Simon.]
First connection with, um, Regional Business partner Network reached out. It was just really nice to be heard and have that really amazing support.
[Visual: Cut to Keyhook offices, where Luke greets a blond woman dressed in a floral light coloured shirt. Modern office lounge with ‘Keyhook’ branding, people shaking hands and working on laptops. Glass meeting room with ‘BETTER.’ text on the wall, people in discussion.]
When we sat down with our advisor, we'd realised quite quickly that our sales had all grown organically. Connecting us with a training advisor, uh, specialising in sales has really helped us kinda shape our sales strategy and our sales roadmap.
[Visual: Cut back to Luke in front of the Keyhook logo on wall being interviewed.]
[Visual: Cuts back to the Key hook office, where Luke is interacting with the woman he greeted before. Cut to Taz with a restaurant softly lit behind him.]
Networking has just been absolutely amazing.
[Visual: Cut to a kitchen where a sauce of some kind if being poured into a container and dumplings placed in an oven below a shelf of sausage rolls.]
Have a massive pool of, uh, business owners to talk to almost every day. It's also helped me kind of stand back and, and look at the bigger picture, um, and really think about what. I wanna do moving forward.
[Visuals: Cut away to a food envy branded car with someone loading catered goods such as fruit, and cakes.]
[Visual: Cut back to Taz seated in the restaurant.]

Engage with the regional business partner network, even just for a discovery session.
[Visual: Camera pans through an office with people working. Luke’s voice continues.]
‘Cause you don't know what you don't know, so you don't know the problems that you have. You don't know the gaps that you've got within your business.
[Visual: Cuts to a listing on the Keyhook website]
Engaging with the business partner network is extremely valuable and it can't hurt. It'll take 30 minutes an hour out of your day.
[Visual: Cuts to Taz sitting in the restaurant in an interview seat.]
I would recommend any training to any hospitality business owner out there, especially with the free advisory through regional Business partner network.
[Visual: Cuts to Taz sitting in the green seated booth from before speaking with a woman who is gesturing and nodding.]
[Visual: Cuts back to Simon in his kitchen wearing his Mufftech shirt and cap.]
We get little bits of gold every time we speak to them, and we take that and every single time it seems to pay off, so it's been great.
Visual: A picture of New Zealand floats down on the screen, pointing out the different regional partners, and recommending getting in touch. Black background with white text logo: ‘Regional Business Partner Network’ appears centrally.

Management Capability Development Fund
The network offers a funding scheme through the Management Capability Development Fund (MCDF), which helps business owners or managers access business training services, by subsidising the cost.
When you register with the Regional Business Partner Network you might be able to access management training through this fund. The fund subsidises up to 50% of the cost of management training up to $5,000 a year (excluding GST).
To qualify for the subsidy, you’ll need to meet with a growth advisor for a discovery session to identify gaps in your current management skills. If your business meets the criteria, our growth advisors will be able to connect you to management training where you need it most.
Service providers
Service providers are training providers who work directly with business owners. They deliver targeted management training courses to uplift the business owner’s capability in challenging areas of their business.
These courses are designed to be practical and easy to apply, helping business owners make confident decisions and strengthen their business.
To become a service provider in the Regional Business Partner Network, you need to meet specific criteria, including offering eligible management training services and demonstrating relevant experience and qualifications.
