Zipping round town, sustainably
Proxima helps other businesses become more resilient and sustainable. Car travel once made up a big part of their carbon footprint. But they’ve done several things to change that.
The business never owned company cars, but often used petrol-powered rentals, taxis and ride shares. To lower emissions, they switched to using Zilch, an electric car share service. All staff got a Zilch membership and training on how to use it. It’s now the default for any car travel in the city. The team find it a great companion to the e-bikes they use for shorter trips.
